Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges: Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Scholarship Eligibility:

• Undergraduate or graduate student at an U.S. accredited college or university

• GPA: 3.0 or better

• Field of Study: Liberal Arts or Science

• Residency: U.S. Residents

• Status: Full time students

• Has done or will be doing graduate research on or an internship or volunteer opportunity at an Alaska National Wildlife Refuge.

• Completed essay: Essay shall describe research, internship, or volunteer opportunity undertaken or to be undertaken at an Alaska National Wildlife Refuge and how that research, internship, or volunteer opportunity supports the conservation of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge system.

• References: 3 names and contact information

• Completed application form

• Unofficial transcripts submitted

Application Deadline:

• Application Available: January 1^st of each year

• Submittal: March 1^st of each year

• Award: May 1^st of each year
